PROFILE

Phyllis Welch has been a teacher for 25 years and an artist for 35 years. She recently retired from Sweetwater Union High School District. She has lived and worked in Hawaii, Micronesia, Guam, Oregon, and California. She maintains a large studio in Chula Vista, CA., along with her husband, who is also a teacher and artist. Her work has been in numerous juried shows, where she has won many awards.
