ARTIST’S STATEMENT

“I believe that my focus on figurative compositions and portraiture is the result of my many years of dealing with people in my medical practice. I learned to observe and understand people in their personality, mood shift, and in feeling the essence if their spirit. My focus has given me the opportunity to express all of those in form and color. I seem to prefer to work with pastel, because its versatility allows me to capture a better likeness”.
