San Diego artist Edwin Wordell has been active as an artist for over four decades. His primary medium has been watercolors with which he constantly experiments. His recent work encompasses mixed watermedia on papers.

Mr. Wordell has had over 30 solo exhibitions, been included in more than 445 national and regional juried group shows and has won numerous awards and honors nationally and regionally, including two U.S. Coast Guard George Gray Awards and the National Watercolor Society’s Experimental Award. He has been a juror for regional and national exhibits including AARP’S Mature Magazine’s “The Seasoned Eyed” traveling exhibit. Over 700 of his works have been purchased by both public and private collectors.
