"Elvia Tadeo has been an active artist since the age of fifteen. Ms. Tadeo began showing her oil paintings in 1987, but her true passion emerged with her works in soft pastel. Pastels are ideally suited to capturing fast impressions and effects of light in Ms. Tadeo's unique vision of life. This is most apparent in her florals, landscapes, seascapes and portraits. Elvia's work also reflect her interest and concern for the street people of Mexico, particularity the native Indians of the region."
Her worked has been shown in numerous galleries and exhibitions throughout Mexico and California. She is also listed in Who's Who in America. Elvia's paintings are in collections in Germany, England, France, Mexico as well as in the United States.
