ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"Many paintings inside one painting. Many textures. Good "line" and composition. Original all the way. The designs "crowd" my brain in an impatient long line to come out... to be "BORN." I enjoy what is "born" just as much as others do when I create each piece.

I admired Walt Disney and thought I was going to work for him as an animation artist til I was ten years old.

Like all "happy art creators," Bringing Joy and the Love for others is my goal in residence: my Simland Brain, whether doing whimsical or abstract art."

PROFILE

judi began taking art lessons at the age of five. She later spent seven years studying Art and English in College and went on to teach Elementary School for 25 years, always doing art and continued taking classes.

She works in a multitude of media and has shown and sold her work in numerous galleries and juried shows throughout the region. judi won several awards many years in a row at the San Diego County Fair. She has also won awards in four national juried shows and has had four featured artist shows. judi was juried into 8th annual Contemporay International Juried Exhibtion at the Upsteam People Gallery Online from 5/1/06-4/30/07.

She is an active member of many local art associations including a lifetime member of "The North County Society of Fine Artists" in Poway, CA. judi is very interested in FUNDRAISERS and has helped
many organizations.
