PROFILE

Vicky Pelton’s work is inspired by her love of art. Coming from a family of musicians, she was exposed to many forms of art from an early age. Having herself, studied music, ballet, and flamenco, she admires the graceful movements of the human body. She started drawing as a child and has studied art in England, Mexico, and the United States and has participated in many exhibitions in those countries. In order to pursue excellence, she dedicates time every day to read about art and attends classes and workshops to paint live models. “My goal is just to paint, because I love doing it.” She is a member of the SDMA Artists Guild, the Portrait Society, and the Foothills Art Association.
