She has always had an interest in art but over the past ten years she has concentrated on sculpture. She attended college in Chico, CA and has attended various sculpture seminars and classes.
Gale has developed a unique ability to capture facial expressions and body language in her sculptures, which relate a statement or attitude. They are not just clay or bronze...they are saying something.
Gale was commissioned to create two bronze statues which were installed in the city of Escondido, CA. One 3/4 life size female bronze in a reclining position (June 2005) and one full size standing female bronze (January 2006). She has also been commissioned to create three life size bronze statues for a Military Tribute in Escondido in 2007.
Gale commissioned artist James T. Hubbell to design a new home. She and her husband have recently completed 4 years of construction and officially moved-in on September 19, 2005. She loves sculpture and has created many art items, which were integrated into their home. She says, "I am actually living in a piece of sculpture".
