
PROFILE
Jesse O’Neill studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and with Thomas Hart Benton. He was in a WPA art project that painted murals in public buildings. He later attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago and began work as an illustrator and publications editor in the aviation industry until his retirement. He has exhibited with the remaining survivors of Thomas Hart Benton’s class at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, MO. Recently, his work was seen in the exhibit “In their Eighties” at the Earl Birdie Taylor Library in Pacific Beach. |
