ARTIST’S STATEMENT

“I am enchanted by nature and the many places I visit both at home and abroad. The whole kaleidoscope of texture, color and shape constantly challenge me to encapsulate and share my vision and fascination.

My Art comes through me, not of me and I find my concept of a flower, a landscape, buildings, any subject can change many times, so my art is dynamic. Always, there is something new to express.”

PROFILE

Isabel McCauley acquired her early art training in England, and received her Bachelors of Arts degree from San Diego State University. She has studied the Old Masters paintings expensively when visiting many of the world’s famous museums and galleries while traveling abroad, and continues to learn contemporary methods through books, workshops and viewing contemporary art wherever she goes. Her work has been exhibited and sold in San Diego galleries, accepted into juried shows, received awards, and is in private collections both in the United States and abroad.
