PROFILE

     "Thank you for your interest in my life and here is my story; I was born July 5th 1959, South Dakota, USA. Started drawing at the age of six. Drawings turned into paintings by the age of thirteen. Went on to attend art school. Moved to San Diego, CA. 1979 where I continued working and painting. I participated in several mixed exhibitions throughout California. Also worked on custom art pieces, wall murals and portraits by commission. After I got married, on our three month honeymoon! We traveled through Europe and I was inspired by the many beautiful beaches and ancient civilizations. Few years later I started dividing my time between Izmir (on the Aegean sea) and San Diego (on the Pacific Ocean). My beautiful Turkish wife, Gaye, is my most precious treasure and that of which I am most thankful. We have traveled widely across the continents many times. This nomadic life style inspires me for my paintings. Their rich colors reflect my life. I feel very lucky to live the way I do. I am blessed with wonderful families and friends on both sides of the Atlantic.

     My paintings are available originals either acrylic on canvas or pastel on wood. They are in hand signed limited edition and open edition giclee prints. Portraits and wall murals are available on special order. Please contact me through my web site."
