PROFILE

 

     Jill Campbell McLean Le Croissette, B.A., University of Sydney, M.S.L.S., Drexel University, was born in Australia. She came to the United States in 1957 and has been a U.S. citizen for many years. After she retired from her career as an academic librarian in 1982, Jill began making quilts full-time and now works primarily in studio quilts and wearable art. She lives in Carlsbad, CA.

 

     Jill’s work has been exhibited in over sixty-five juried national, international, and regional art, quilt and wearable art shows, and she has had several solo exhibits of her quilts. Jill’s quilts and garments are in private collections in the United States, Great Britain, Australia, France, Spain, and Sweden.

 

     Jill belongs to numerous national fiber art groups and exhibits regularly with Pacific Quilt Artists, a juried group of quilters dedicated to promoting the quilt as a fine art medium.
