ARTIST'S STATEMENT

French Photographer born in the Comoros Islands, in the Indian Ocean in 1967.
Despite the fact that my main interests in life have always been Nature and Photography, I spent twelve years behind a computer screen, before moving to the USA in March 2002 and eventually choose to do my Life's Work: Photography.
I do believe that Photography is a gift and a tool to capture the present time, it simply allows me to share my vision of the world we are living in. In one phrase, I think that Photography is the ultimate witness. Whatever the subject and the place, ugly or beautiful, it will last, and be part of the memory for the future.
I love the depth of the Black & White films, and the sharpness of the slides. The old fashion way, yes, and even if I also have a digital camera (mainly used for my family and underwater in a housing), my heart still goes towards the films and the slides.
