PROFILE

Mark Kitaen is a self-taught diverse artist, working in multiple media for over 19 years. "I work as a digital artist, photographer, graphic designer, acrylic painter, illustrator, and 3D mixed media sculptural relief artist. My main art focus currently is working with photography and computer graphics.
As a digital artist, I use computer-generated imagery with my original photographic images. I like to make digital collage projects. Mixing and merging up to several dozen photographic images, and multiple computers at image layers within the design. I will seek out and photograph specific images on location, to then be incorporated into my digital art compositions. My style and art themes vary from conceptual, fantasy, abstract, wildlife, domestic animals, botanical landscapes, ocean, spiritual, motorcycles, aviation, automobiles and boats."
Photography has taken a more prominent role in his new art business, "Special FX Photo". Marc does location photography shoots, with green & blue backgrounds, together with computer generated art theme scenes and artistic digital backgrounds. He also spent nine years as a graphic designer and ten years as a mixed media artist, creating mostly wall decorations incorporating functional furniture.
Marc's artwork has exhibited in international gallery shows; several one-person shows, been widely published and the TV Artist Channel interviewed him and televised his sculptural relief artwork.
