PROFILE

Andrea Gaye has been painting since early childhood. Her extensive art training includes the Brighton School of Art in her native England, a year of independent study in Paris, France, and twelve years as student and assistant of the renowned Spanish painter Sebastian Capella. An award winning oil painter, Gaye enjoys working in her studio and creating landscapes on location. She is widely recognized for her joyful beach scenes and casual portraits of children at play and her large hospital commissions include the new Women’s Wing at Scripps Memorial Hospital, La Jolla.
