ARTIST’S STATEMENT

     “Creating a total art form is of primary concern to me as the art process gravitates in essence around my individual experiences in connection with a painting. At some point of development, subject matter enters the work of art subconsciously in response to the act of painting and has a varying effect on the final form. As an artist who loves nature, I strive to give to a painting a portion of myself with enough emotion to make a creation live its own life”.

     Vera has had her work widely published in several magazines and has been featured in a television documentary. She has participated in innumerable juried exhibitions and has had several one-woman shows throughout the state of California.
