PROFILE

 

     Pat Dispenziere, watercolorist and print maker, was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. As a child she studied at the Cleveland School of Art children’s classes.

     Her college degrees of Bachelor of Fine Arts in ceramic art and Bachelor of Science in art education were earned at Ohio State University. Upon graduation she taught art in the Midland, Michigan and San Antonio public schools. Later she was a substitute art teacher in the St. Louis, Missouri schools.

     Since moving to California in 1975, Pat has become a full time professional artist. She concentrated on watercolor and printmaking. Pat is a signature member of Watercolor West, California Watercolor Association, and a juried member of Los Angeles Printmaking Society, Women Painters West, the San Diego Museum of Art Artists Guild, and the La Jolla Art Association. She shows regularly in group shows locally and has been juried into many local and national competitions. She recently was selected as a finalist in the Artists Magazine “2001” Art Competition. One of her watercolors will appear in North Light’s book “Splash 7” in May 2002. Pat enjoys painting plein air as well as in her studio.
