PROFILE
A resident of San Diego since 1972, Linda Drake worked for ten years
as a registered nurse, raised two boys, then returned to school to become
an interior designer. Throughout her life, drawing, color, and creative
stimulation have been important adjuncts, each avenue another step toward
her venture into painting. Influenced by every aspect of life, her surroundings,
and travel experiences, her goal is to never become static in the exploration
of art and the many media available with which to express one’s inner
self. In her on-going series of artworks, her goal is to capture the
moment and translate it into color, light, and/or mood. EDUCATION
