ARTIST’S STATEMENT

“Born in Provence, south of France, I have always been influenced by the light, the sun, the ground and the color. These have led me to a very abstract work. Abstract because the nature is abstract.

As a way to echo the nature, I use mixed media such as wood, pure pigment, collage. By using these techniques I try to find a link between dream and reality. Moreover I believe that all the arts such as photography, poetry and music are related and can be mixed in a same artwork.

Greatly influenced by the Spanish painters as Juan Miro and Antoni Tapies I want to let the public to find his own way through the painting. I wish that people looking at my paintings would reach a state of peace and beauty, the same as when they read a poem or listen to music.”
