ARTIST’S STATEMENT

"Appropriation. Art history is the primary point of origin for my art. Universal and personal symbology, as well as personal iconograhy are the second sources.

All great artists have studied the work of their predecessors and borrowed from it, if they have felt the need and or the desire. Art history, with the interjection of universal, personal symbology and personal iconography present a new and unique visual statement.

I create my art with these objectives in mind. Whether the end results are assemblages, paintings or sculptures."
