REVIEW
Laurel
Collins, artist par excellence, creates an incredible buffet feast
for your artistic palette as a fantastically multi-talented, cutting
edge new-age artist, whose love for her work is obvious by her dedication
to perfection through excruciating concentration, producing precision
craftsmanship. Mo matter what artistic medium is used, attention to
detail and creative uniqueness is paramount in each and every piece.
Her expansive abilities enable her art to shine in alabaster rock
sculpture, clay sculpture, pottery, watercolors, chalks, acrylics
and oils (which are her favorite), on paper, canvas and full wall
murals. Her many varieties of artistic expression capture images of beauty recording them for posterity. This is especially true regarding her portraits honoring the famous and non-famous with their own personal unseen totem animal (i.e. Low-self helper, protector and companion, which we all have). With splashes of color she dances in seascape sunsets, and through underwater panoramas timelessly captures the dwellers of the deep, the dolphins; orcas; belugas; humpbacks; green sea turtles (dangerously near extinction) and her breathtakingly beautiful and overwhelmingly emotionally stirring mermaids (which are extinct). |
