“I My Paintings reflect my passion to create. I can spend hours mixing, pouring, splashing and splattering paints to create a complex series of layers, similar to layers that shape our lives and form the very fabric of our existence."

PROFILE

American Artist Robert J. Bernhardt was born April 3rd 1957 in Roselle, New Jersey. Robert lived most of his younger years in South Amboy, N. J. He moved to San Diego in 1979 and has resided there ever since. Robert began painting, as a hobby, in the early 1990's.
Robert is a self taught Artist. His style of "No Borders" or the "Allover Painting" using the drip and splash technique that rivals the great American painter Jackson Pollock himself. Robert loves to paint and spends hours and hours trying many different styles of painting, enhancing his already large portfolio, containing many stunningly vibrant paintings.
