The Artists Gallery is a collection of images from the members of the San Diego Visual Artists Guild. The work featured is representative of the many different art styles and disciplines practiced in the San Diego/Baja Norte region. The images on this site are rather large for a web page and fill a screen set at 1024 x 768 resolution. If you have the capacity, 1280 x 1024 is the optimal resolution for this site. We created these larger images to better display fine art, than the very small images one usually finds on the net. Due to this and the massive amount of data on this site, downloading these images for those without high-speed modems requires patience. Also included, are a brief profile and/or statement for each artist.
As the Guild evolves so will this site. We will continue to feature more and more contemporary, that is living artists. We all hope that you will enjoy viewing the finest collection of artists and their work ever assembled in one region. In order to see it all, like when visiting a museum, one most return over and over again to fully appreciate all of its wonders and beauty. |
